Hilltip is Europe’s leading manufacturer of road maintenance equipment designed for pickups and light trucks. We are part of the Swedish technology group Sdiptech AB (publ) and have subsidiaries in Finland, Germany, and the USA. In 2025, our turnover reached €21.4 million (Hilltip Group €29 million), with 97% of sales coming from exports, primarily to Europe and the USA. SALES ENGINEER

Do you want to combine technology, customer interaction, and international sales?

Hilltip continues its strong growth in Europe and North America and is now looking for a Sales Engineer who wants to help develop our business together with our international sales team.

In this role, you will act as the technical link between our customers, dealers, Area Sales Managers, and our product development team. You will provide technical expertise throughout the entire sales process and help our customers find the best solutions for their needs.

Your main responsibilities

  • Actively support our Area Sales Managers in sales activities
  • Participate in tenders, customer negotiations, and quotation work
  • Develop technical solutions and prepare quotations
  • Provide technical advice to customers and dealers
  • Actively work with upselling opportunities for existing customers
  • Support and develop our after-sales process
  • Serve as an important link between sales, production, product development, and customers

We are looking for someone who has

  • A technical education (engineering degree or equivalent)
  • Experience with technical products and solutions
  •  Good understanding of electrical, hydraulic, or vehicle systems
  • Experience in truck body upfitting, construction machinery, or vehicle technology is considered an advantage
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken
  • The ability to communicate technical solutions clearly and professionally

SALES SUPPORT

SOFTWARE ENGINEER – FULL STACK DEVELOPER

Hilltip is a leading manufacturer of snow and ice control equipment, serving customers across Europe and North America. We are now looking for an enthusiastic Software Engineer – Full Stack Developer who wants to help further develop our digital telematics platform, HTrack™.

HTrack™ is the heart of our connected solutions and is used by customers to monitor, track, and analyze their vehicles and equipment in real time. Through data, mapping, and automated reporting, we help our customers work more efficiently, safely, and sustainably.

About the role

As part of our development team, you will play a key role in the continued development of the HTrack™ platform. You will work on everything from user-friendly web interfaces to databases, integrations, and new intelligent features.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Developing and enhancing the HTrack platform’s web interface

TRANSPORT PLANNER

Do you want a key role in an international growth company where you are responsible for ensuring that our products reach customers around the world on time, at the right cost, and with the highest quality?

We are now looking for a Transport Planner who will have overall responsibility for procuring, coordinating, and planning Hilltip’s transportation activities, both inbound and outbound. The role covers transportation by road, sea, rail, and air and is central to ensuring efficient deliveries to our customers and a smooth supply of materials from our suppliers.

Your main responsibilities

  • Procure and develop partnerships with carriers and logistics providers.
  • Plan and coordinate all inbound freight from our suppliers.
  • Plan and coordinate deliveries to customers in Europe, North America, and other markets.
  • Ensure cost-effective and high-quality transportation solutions.
  • Act as the natural link between sales, production, warehouse operations, and external transportation partners.
  • Maintain daily contact with customers, suppliers, and carriers.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules and transportation solutions together with our sales team and production managers.
  • Provide instructions and support to the logistics department regarding packing, shipping, documentation, and delivery plans.
  • Monitor delivery performance, transportation costs, and logistics key performance indicators.
  • Proactively work on improvements within transportation and logistics processes.

We are looking for someone who

  • Has experience in transport planning, logistics, or supply chain management.
  • Is accustomed to coordinating many activities simultaneously and enjoys working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Has strong negotiation skills and a commercial mindset.
  • Is structured, solution-oriented, and motivated by creating order and efficiency.
  • Communicates fluently in Swedish and English. Knowledge of Finnish is considered an advantage.
  • Has good IT skills and experience working with ERP/business systems.

WAREHOUSE AND LOGISTICS WORKER

In this role, you will become an important part of our logistics team and contribute to ensuring that production runs efficiently every day. You will work with both practical and administrative tasks related to material handling, inventory management, and the development of our internal logistics flows.

Your main responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect incoming deliveries
  • Perform quality checks and register goods in the ERP system
  • Handle internal logistics and inventory transfers Ensure accurate inventory balances through stocktaking and follow-up activities
  • Optimize material flows between the warehouse and production
  • Participate in the development of our warehouse and logistics processes
  • Contribute to a safe, efficient, and well-organized working environment

Your responsibilities

  • Assembly of truck bodies and equipment on trucks and transport vehicles
  • Installation of hydraulic, electrical, and control systems
  • Mechanical assembly work according to drawings and work instructions
  • Troubleshooting and quality inspection of completed installations

LASER OPERATORS

Do you want to work with modern laser technology in an international growth company?

Hilltip continues to grow and is now looking for Laser Operators for our factory in Jakobstad.

With us, you will work with modern Bystronic laser cutting machines and be an important part of our production team. This role combines technical understanding, planning, and hands-on work in a modern manufacturing environment where quality, efficiency, and continuous development are key priorities.

The position is based on a two-shift schedule.

Your main responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor our Bystronic laser cutting machines
  • Plan and optimize component manufacturing for high productivity and quality
  • Program and prepare cutting jobs
  • Ensure an efficient material flow to and from the laser cutting process
  • Handle materials and components within production Collaborate with production supervisors, warehouse staff, and production planning to ensure on-time deliveries
  • Perform quality inspections and ensure products meet our standards
